Walt was appointed to the board in 2002 and is in his second term. He has held positions on the Executive Committee and was most recently President. Currently Walt is Chairman of the Shoreline Improvements Committee and represents District 7, the area generally surrounding Grass Valley Lake to Grandview School. Walt, his wife and three children have lived in Lake Arrowhead since 1994. He is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Biology. Walt works for an Aerospace bearing manufacturer as the Western Region Manager. Walt and his family love to wakeboard, water ski and boat on Lake Arrowhead and enjoy local events and snow skiing.
