Stan Tomlinson was raised in Bishop and Chino California. He received his degree in Philosophy and his Law degree from University of Southern California. He served in the Army in 1953 and 1954. As a lawyer he served as Chief Deputy District Attorney and later founded the law firm of Tomlinson, Nydam and Prince. In 1984 he served as President of the San Bernardino Bar Association. He has been a member of the State Bar of California for fifty-one (51) years and retired from his litigation practice in 2000. Stan has been a homeowner and lived in Arrowhead Woods since 1985, but has a winter residence in La Quinta California. He has served in various capacities for the ALA including General Counsel and on the Shoreline, Forest and Property Planning, and Lake Operations committees as a member. He is married to Mary Muir Tomlinson who retired from Lake Arrowhead Elementary after thirty (30) years in 1999. His hobbies include tennis, dogs, and the ALA. | ||||
