Scott and his wife Roberta have called Lake Arrowhead their home since 1992. Ever since Scott was a child, Lake Arrowhead has been a part of his life. Having grown up in Hollywood, he is a graduate of Cal State University, Northridge, with a BA degree in Television. Scott's son David is currently in college at UC Davis.

Scott has been with CBS Television in Hollywood for over 26 years as a Director, Associate Director and Stage Manager, having received numerous industry honors and awards including 4 Emmy Awards, and the Directors Guild of America Lifetime Achievement Award. For the last 5 years, he has served as an elected Council Chair with the Directors Guild and has previously served on the Board of Directors.

Scott volunteers his time to the community through his website LakeArrowheadNews.com, and serves on the Advisory Council of the Children's Forest. He is a member of the Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce and served as Chair of the ALA Marketing Committee.

Scott and his family enjoy spending time on their dock and boating on the lake. His hobbies include photography, computers, electronics, music and walking the ALA trails. He currently serves as the ALA Board President and Chair of the Lake Activities & Safety Committee.
