Forest & Property Planning Committee

Purpose

The Forest & Property Planning Committee is responsible for ALA Forest and Property planning and management.

Chairperson

The President of the Association shall appoint the Forest & Property Planning Committee Chair.

Responsibilities

1. Review and recommend policies regarding forest management, homeowner landscaping and thinning of trees and shrubs.
2. Review and recommend policies regarding the use of ALA properties, forestland, seedling plantings, educational programs, nursery operations, forest festivals, seed collection and long-range forest management planning.
3. Process applications for member reforestation and/or landscaping on ALA property submitted by members or approved contractors and sent to committee by ALA staff.
4. Planning for the future use of the ALA property.

Accountability

The Forest & Property Planning Committee shall be accountable to the Arrowhead Lake Association Board of Directors.
