Lake Arrowhead & Grass Valley Lake Fishing Rules

1. PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO FISH: Only Arrowhead Woods property owners, their family and guests are permitted to fish in Lake Arrowhead and Grass Valley Lake.

2. PROOF OF OWNERSHIP: Property owners must give proof of Arrowhead Woods property ownership to any ALA employee. Proof may include ALA boat sticker, ALA membership card, or copy of grant deed.

3. FISHING LICENSE: A current California State fishing license is required.

4. LIMIT OF FISH: No person authorized to fish may take more than five (5) trout, salmon or bass in the aggregate in any one day, nor may any person have more than a daily limit in their possession; limit for pan fish is 20. There is no limit on all remaining species of fish. Fishing or trapping crawdad/crayfish is prohibited NOTE: Catch and Release Program - Bass between 12" and 14" may be caught and kept. ALL others must be released. CAUTION: These rules do not supersede local, County, State or Federal laws.

5. VIOLATIONS:

First Violation: Any violation of rules will result in:

A. Citation with no appearance required, and/or

B. Confiscation of fish.

Second and Continuing: Will result in fines of $100 per fish and possible suspension of fishing privileges to be determined upon hearing by the Lake Violations Committee.

Violations committed by guests are the responsibility of the host ALA property owner.

6. MODIFICATIONS AND AMENDMENTS: The Board of Directors may make any modifications and amendments to these fishing rules and regulations as the Board may deem necessary or advisable.
