What is involved in putting a boat on the lake?

The current registration fee is $200 per boat with dock, and $300 per boat without a dock. The minimum length of a boat with a motor is 12 feet; the maximum length is 26 feet. All boats under 12 feet - no motor (stay within the "no wake" buoy line) must also be registered with the ALA. The fee for a small boat - no motor is $50, however, if you own a dock the fee is reduced to $25. Briefly the requirements are as follows:

• Must own property within Arrowhead Woods (Grant Deed);
• Must have an ALA Membership: General Membership, Beach Club Membership, or Dock Membership;
• Must own the boat (DMV Registration for the boat);
• Must carry $500,000 combined single limit liability and Arrowhead Lake Association must be named as "Additional Insured";
• Must provide proper mooring (Slip Rental Agreement Signed by Slip owner), or day launch;
• Must obtain a boat operator's license ($15, Open book, multiple choice test);
