Conditions for Issuance of Boat Decal

Proof of Arrowhead Woods Property Ownership

Members must provide a copy of their current Grant Deed (residential real property within the boundaries of Arrowhead Woods). There is no need to provide a deed if you own a dock.

If your property is unimproved, you must launch on a daily basis only unless you rent a dock slip from the ALA or from a member of ALA who owns a dock slip.

Any member that owns a slip or rents a slip may register a boat and moor their boat overnight. When dock slips are rented, a copy of a rental agreement must be supplied to ALA.

No boat will be allowed to moor in a boat slip until all slip fees are paid.

The aggregate maximum number of boats that can be registered per property is five (5).

Boat Registration

Boat must be registered in the name of the Arrowhead Woods property owner. A current DMV registration must be presented at the time of ALA registration.

Membership Dues/Boat Size

Minimum Size 12', maximum Size 26' for power and sail boats. See Membership Fee Schedule for current annual rates.

Kayaks/Canoes and boats under 12' must remain no further than 100' from the shoreline. Homeowners insurance will suffice if there is no motor.

Insurance Requirements

A certificate of insurance must be on file in the ALA office naming ALA as ADDITIONAL INSURED.

All certificates are to show: Name of Insured, Policy Number and Policy Period, Limits of Liability Coverage, CF Number, Make, and Length of Boat(s).

Owner must carry liability insurance in the amount of $500,000.00 combined single limit.

The Arrowhead Lake Association must be named "ADDITIONAL INSURED" on your policy.

Water skiing coverage shall be included in your policy.

Your policy shall have a thirty-day (30) prior written notice of cancellation given to ALA.

Boats without motors can be covered by your homeowner's insurance policy.

Boat Operators Certificate

All boat operators must obtain an ALA Boat Operators Certificate ($15.00).
